Siris Medical, a Redwood City-based company which has commercialized the first artificial intelligence treatment decision support system in radiation therapy, announced today it has raised $4.0 million in Series A1 financing. The proceeds will be used to expand commercialization of its QuickMatch software to improve radiation treatment based on insights from past successful therapy.

Their InsightRT™ Software Suite takes accumulated patient treatment experience from single or multiple clinics and empowers the user to more efficiently inform their treatment planning process with knowledge-based insights. The InsightRT™ Software Suite is comprised of two primary modules QuickMatch™ and PlanMD™ that can be used independently or together.
